“I get on with the job—I take it very seriously. I do lots of sketches first then the big one. I work from photographs I have taken in the garden. I’d like people to see them.”
David takes inspiration from the natural world and enjoys working from the plants and flowers in the garden at Orwell Arts. David uses bright colours, often enhancing and exaggerating his choices to create striking paintings which have a strong design element to their composition.
